Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme (EISZ) and Elsevier, a global information analytics business specializing in science and health, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Letter of Intent, as they move towards finalizing a new innovative pilot agreement for research access and Open Access publishing in Hungary. As a result, EISZ consortium member institutions and their affiliated researchers across Hungary now have immediate access to ScienceDirect, Elsevier’s leading platform of peer-reviewed scholarly literature, as well as SciVal, the research performance tool, and Scopus, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.

Hungarian consortium signs Read & Publish agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry
The Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme (EISZ) has signed an innovative Read & Publish licensing agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry. That means corresponding authors affiliated at consortium member institutions are now able to publish Open Access in hybrid Royal Society of Chemistry journals, as well as having access to read the full range of scientific content from these titles.
Wiley and the Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme partner to advance scholarly research and publishing
John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE: JWA and JWB), a global leader in research and education, announced today an open access and subscription agreement with the Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme (EISZ). This three-year transformative agreement provides researchers in 13 EISZ-affiliated institutions with access to read journals published by Wiley, and the ability to publish open access with Wiley.
